A vision given for the laborers.
Jean Hopper-King’s account of how God showed her ReFresh Resort, and why He made her wait.
It came in pieces, over time, until it could not be mistaken.
About four and a half years ago, Jean had a dream. A week later, at a women’s conference, a woman at the conference prophesied over her, and the word was like a continuation of the dream. It concerned spiritual leaders, and land, and a place for those who were burned out, or who needed to be kept from burning out.
The Most High brought the vision about through prayer, dreams, the Word, vision and prophecy. In Jean’s words, “He kept confirming refresh… restoration.”
The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.
Psalm 92:12–13
In Jean’s words
A dream. A Prophecy. Another dream. A Vision!
Every Vision has a harvest; a harvest that brings the present to the future.
GOD SHOWED ME THE VISION OF REFRESH RESORT
Except the LORD build the house they labor in vain to build it; except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
Psalm 127:1, NIV
Jesus Christ himself is the Chief Corner Stone!!!
The Glory of the LORD Falls. That same Glory that brings Comfort, Transformation, Restoration & Refreshing.
THAT IS THE VISION FOR YWHW’S CHOSEN
The Harvest Is Plentiful, but the Laborers Are Few
God keeps reiterating THE VISION to me. While praying, I asked Abba about ReFresh Resort. He stated that the ones that will come to this place to refresh themselves will be like pineapples, rough on the outside. They will have to be peeled back to the nourishment and the sweetness on the inside so they can be re-empowered by the Holy Spirit and finally sent back out in the world to help reap the harvest, because the laborers are few.
“GOD SHOWED ME THE VISION” THEN HE MADE ME WAIT FOR IT
Abba used the waiting period to build his own version of me. That waiting period continues to allow me to grow spiritually to have:
- Less Control
- Less Desperation
- Less Striving
- More TRUST
Why? Because God Almighty never intended for the vision to replace HIM!!!
Jean Hopper-King, Founder
A place set apart for the presence of God.
Jean calls ReFresh Resort a Shiloh. The name speaks of a place where God’s presence dwells and His people come to meet with Him.
The vision is not a building project with Scripture attached. The Lord must build and keep the house, or the labor is in vain. That is why the vision must never take the place of the One who gave it.

The shell is not the person.
Years of carrying others can leave a rough exterior. What is inside is still nourishing and sweet. It only has to be reached.
The peeling is not the point. Being re-empowered by the Holy Spirit and sent back out to the harvest is the point.
Comfort
For those who have given comfort to everyone else.
Transformation
A change in the inner life, not an escape from it.
Restoration & Refreshing
Laborers returned to the field, filled with the Holy Spirit.
Scripture is not decoration here. It is the foundation.
These are the passages Jean set at the foundation of ReFresh Resort from the beginning.
Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.
Acts 3:19
They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; to shew that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
Psalm 92:14–15
